This tool has served the CAPS team, as well as the whole MAPS working
group, (1) to visualize the different tours proposed by the project,
(2) to compute statistics relevant to the magnetospheric and plasma
science about each Tours, and (3) to evaluate quantitatively how each
tour fulfills the MAPS observational requirements.
Early 99, T18-5 has been selected by the PSG as the new reference tour for the
CASSINI mission.
This tool has been developped by the CAPS team at Observatoire Midi-Pyrenees
(Toulouse, France), namely by Michel Blanc, Guillaume Cassignol, and Sylvestre
